School of Language Arts
Children are the most important group for us. Recently we have learned that bilingualism in children is very important. Research strongly supports the benefits of bilingualism in language, literacy, social, and cognitive development. For example, bilingual children have performed better than monolingual speakers on measures of analytical ability, concept formation, cognitive flexibility, and metalinguistic skills.
Our teens’ program is intended for those students who are willing to go beyond the school curriculum and perfect the language. As part of this program, twice a year we offer an Introductory Foreign Language Class (Spanish, Chinese, French and Italian) for all those kids that are going to have a second language class for the first time at school.
Summer is almost here! It is the perfect time to learn, improve and further perfect your English language skills.
