Our founder, Shelley Acton, an educator for nearly 30 years, named the school to honor the memory of Delaney Wright who through her battle with cancer, symbolizes the wonder and promise of childhood and serves as a constant reminder of the courage, strength, and creativity we hope to foster in each child who walks through our doors.
We strive to center our purposes, goals and overall focus around the individual needs and interests of the children. We endeavor to provide all of our children with a responsive, nurturing and stimulating environment in which they can reach their full potential as happy, competent and productive human beings. We offer meaningful, developmentally and cognitively appropriate curriculum that sparks children’s natural learning styles.
