Aquarium of Niagara
The mission of the Aquarium of Niagara is to broaden the public’s awareness of aquatic ecosystems through innovative and stimulating exhibits, displays, and educational and recreational programs that promote conservation and support research.
The Aquarium of Niagara is one of only 20 facilities in the United States and Canada to feature the Humboldt, or Peruvian penguins, that are listed as a threatened species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Visit with our Aquarists at our 10,000-gallon shark exhibit to learn more about our resident sharks and their tank mates. Observe the animals being fed by an Aquarist while learning more about shark conservation efforts, husbandry and how you can help protect their future.Embark on a special look at an amazing species, the California sea lion. During your visit, don't miss the chance for an encounter you'll never forget - the opportunity to get up close and personal with one of our seals. During this twenty-minute session you'll have many opportunities to touch, feed and even interact with one of our seals.
