Description:

The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is Gainesville’s community zoo and the training facility for the Zoo Animal Technology Program. Situated on 10 forested acres we house rare and endangered species including matchie's tree kangaroo and ocelots.

Santa Fe College Little School provides a safe, enriched, stimulating and loving learning environment for toddlers and preschool children. In a carefully supervised environment, the Little School also serves as an early childhood laboratory site for aspiring teachers of young children. There are 90 students enrolled, ranging from toddlers (14-35 months of age) to preschoolers (3-5 years of age). And there are 10 full-time faculty members plus 10 part-time early childhood student workers.
